Monster Energy Supercross The Official Videogame 3
Forget that mouthful of a title. You are going to need all your energy and more to tame these two-wheeled beasts. This is the sport where 22 riders race one another on dirt courses that are crammed with bumps and jumps, and it is only skill that will get between you and the next bone-breaking bullet.
This is a tough game, but you will get better, and once you master its tricks of speed and balance, it is one satisfying mud-slinging racer.
Monster Energy Supercross the third has all the tracks and riders of the last Supercross season across three classes, covering the 250cc East and West divisions and the high-powered bikes of the 450SX.
You can play through the 2019 championship or start your own career in Supercross, and for the first-time race as either a male or female rider. Perhaps the most useful addition is the all-new, bigger compound. Here, you can speed around puling wheelies to your heart’s content while you master the handling. That won’t happen overnight!
Quick Tips
Balance the Bike
Learn how to balance the bike, and how to lean back when you are jumping and forward when you land. Go too far or blow your timing, and you will end up in a tumble, but it is the only way to win.
Rewind Your Mistakes
The rewind button is your new best friend, especially when you are getting used to the game. Hit R1 or the right bumper to rewind back to a point before you failed the jump or skidded off the track.
Get a Fast Start
For a quicker start, lean forward, hold the clutch button, squeeze the throttle, then release the clutch as the gate goes down. Hitting the first corner early gives you a big advantage.

Motorbike Mayhem
Be patient. This is one of the world’s most manic motorsports, and even just making it around the track can be a challenge. With 22 other riders speeding and jumping around you, it is even tougher.
Hit the Compound
Rather than try to learn while you race, hit the compound and get a feel for the bikes and basic techniques. Learn how to balance, accelerate, brake and corner.
Tough Conditions
This third game in the series gives you a much better sense of how the tyres are gripping in the first, but this also takes some getting used to, especially when rain turns all that dirt track to mud.
Make Tracks
Want a change? Why not build your own courses? The game features a built-in editor where you can sculpt your own tracks full of jumps, bumps and fiendish turns.
Three Classes
Just when you have finally gotten used to the 250cc bikes of the first two classes, you will move on to the 450SX class. Here, the bikes are more powerful, the turns will feel tighter, and you might have a hard time staying on!
